SafAlert now supports X10 home automation for simple 'DIY' wireless fire station alerting functionality. Program SafAlert for a series of events whenever your tones are received. Turn on lights, sound alarm, open doors, etc.
Required: USB Computer Interface to control X10 devices. The 9-piece starter kit is a good way to get up and running quickly. Add more modules to control other devices.
The Universal Module provides a set of "dry contacts" and piezo alarm beeper. This unit can be used to activate low-voltage devices, control PA audio or open overhead doors (requires professional installation, ensuring no safety features are negated).
Wireless remotes may be used to manually trigger alert sequence or to reset SafAlert after an alarm.
